Americans deserve to know and learn about their candidates

Why are the Democrats becoming the party of avoiding debates?  We are seeing this on a local and national level.

Joe Biden just announced that he will be seeking re-election for 2024 with Kamala Harris as his VP.  He did it with a video. No press. No questions to be asked.

With that was also an announcement that The Democratic Party has "no plans" to sponsor primary debates,

Did you know that there are others such as RFK Jr and Marianne Williamson that have also announced their intentions to run for President and challenge Biden for the Democratic Presidential Nomination?
